汉字的历史至少有三千多年了，是世界上历史最悠久的文字之一。现在我们所用的字体是经过多次演变的结果。根据现有的资料，汉字主要经历了甲骨文，金文（钟鼎文），篆书，隶书，楷书（繁体）以及现在中国大陆地区使用的简体这几个阶段。

　　Chinese characters have more than 3,000 years long history at least. It is one of the earliest characters in the world. Chinese characters in using now is the result of long time evolvement. There are six stages (oracle, Jin characters, Zhuan, Li, Traditional and Simple)in it's development.
