| Pinyin is not Chinese but a kind of phonetic symbol which can help you pronounce the Chinese characters correctly. Pinyin is composed by Roman characters. Most of them are similar to English characters but they have different pronunciation. It's including Shengmu (consonant) and Yunmu (vowel). |
